Here you can find some of our earlier works, from practice blades to experimental leather pieces, to random bits of woodwork. The photography isn’t great, especially on the older pieces. But this page will give you an idea of the range of work we can do.

The Blade of Woe

Sweet Mother, sweet Mother, send your child unto me, for the sins of the unworthy must be baptized with blood and fear.

Fans of the Elder Scrolls will recognize this blade. Hand-forged and ready to fulfill any contract. Sold.

The Shaman's Seax

These pictures show the progression from raw materials to finished project. This blade was a classic broken backed seax with a simple walnut grip, complete with burnt shamanistic designs. Old spring steel was used for the blade, giving it an antiqued appearance. Sold.

Hybrid Migration

This piece was an experiment in many ways. It was my first attempt at working with brass, as well as the first attempt at incorporating Migration Period elements into a knife. There are some flaws in the fit and finish, but I was otherwise pleased with the end result.

The knife itself is a combination of 19th century Texan with 5th century Germanic elements. Forged from 5160 with black walnut, brass, and copper hardware.

The Staff of Sylvan Light

The third in our line of custom wizard staves, this staff was turned from a black walnut tree felled by a storm. The top compartment houses a concealed 200 lumen flashlight, allowing the green resin stone to be illuminated at night. In dark enough conditions, it wil cast emerald light on anything the staff is aimed at. 6 feet overall. Sold.

Forgework

Random bits of more conventional forgework. Cloak pins, fire pokers, toasting forks, and Viking age cookware are all in our repertoire.

Woodwork

The range of woodwork we’ve done over the years is vast. Below is just a small sampling of the types of items we can make: Rolling pins, mortar and pestles, Christmas ornaments, and cutting boards, just to name a few.

Pipes

My pipemaking journey began with a request to make a wizard’s pipe as a Christmas present. I had so much fun making it, I had to do it again. Then I got carried away, and before I knew it, I had made dozens of pipes. Some of the earlier ones had some issues. After feedback from customers and refinement, all of our pipes are now fully functional and issue-free.
